Digital video on DVD is our standard We take the processed video and get it ready for for DVD burning using our computer software. Once ready, we can burn as many copies as required. For that reason, the cost of DVDs ordered in advance is nominal. DVDs ordered later require additional setup time and cost more, but are still quite reasonable. One DVD or More? Our policy for every package, except the Wedding in the Raw service, is to provide you with a high quality DVD right from the start. Many videographers typically give you a VHS tape as an end product and charge you an additional fee to provide you with a DVD. You are paying us to record your wedding with an expensive 3-chip digital camera. Why would you want anything less than DVD? It would be like matching a $1,000 stereo receiver with $15 speakers. You get one DVD with our Wedding Light, Premium, and Ultra Packages. Additional copies can be ordered for a nominal fee. Wireless mic We use a professional quality UHF wireless mic. Wireless isn't quite as good as a direct wire, but it certainly is practical. You really do not want to walk down the aisle with a microphone cord trailing behind. Using a professional UHF wireless mic helps in the prevention of drops, pops, and bops. Our UHF mic has what is called true diversity reception. This just means we have two signals coming in, instead of just one. If one signal isn't so good, the mic automatically switches to the other. Non-linear edited video We start with your raw footage on mini-DV tape. The great thing about digital is it retains all the original information. Those older analog VHS and Hi-8 cameras don't. The footage is transmitted to our computer hard drive using a professional grade editing program. Once inside the computer, we add an optional introductory title sequence with your names and the date and location of the wedding. Next, we trim the content down to approximately 20 to 30 minutes and use transitions such as cuts and fades to smooth the look and to compress time. The Ultra Package has more hours of video, so we have more content to trim and you end up with a 30 to 40 minute video. The digital video is then rendered, which means the computer processes the images to their final quality level. Finally, for our Signature Style productions, the digital images are DVD mastered and your DVD is produced. Optional Production Services Our optional services allow you to pick and choose what you want. Everyone has a budget. Our optional services allow you to make that budget go further, while still meeting your needs. We can provide you with a second camera and a production assistant to run it. You get a different angle, more flexibility and sometimes we can get a terrific reaction shot of someone watching the ceremony. We can provide additional coverage at a different location, such as a rehearsal dinner the day before the wedding, but it has to set up ahead of time and there is a two hour minimum. The Ultra Package allows you to purchase additional same day last minute coverage by the hour. Optional Pre and Post Production Services A wedding is a special day with special memories. The magic of video lets you re-live the moment--days, months, or even years later. We offer a photo montage service where photos given to us are set to music. A popular montage set are pictures of the bride and groom as they grew up. Other options include adding special effects or setting parts of your wedding to music. Our latest product option is a customized leather wedding photo album. We hand select images from your video, enhance them, and custom design your album. A soft cover version of the wedding photo album is available too. We also offer a framed 8x10 wedding photo collage from images we select from your wedding day. Optional Reproduction Services Some clients may want more content than our edited version. Some people want it all. We sometimes provide additional video footage for you on DVD for an additional fee, but it's at our discretion. Our shooting style isn't tailored toward providing raw footage. We typically shoot for the edit. You may want more than the number of DVDs we give you in our packages or you may want VHS tapes. We can do that too. Like still photographers, we earn money making copies, but you don't have to buy them all from us. We allow you to make as many copies as you want on your own, but you probably will still want us to make them on our professional quality equipment. Our DVD labels are printed directly on the DVD. You can purchase them in simple paper sleeves or in a wedding theme DVD album.

Our goal is provide you with a valuable service at every price point. Speed with quality Our delivery time for an edited wedding video is one of the fastest in New Mexico. We usually ship within two weeks of your wedding day. Wedding in the Raw $395 Our Wedding in the Raw production is designed for those on a very tight budget. The goal is to give you raw video content that can later be edited, when your budget allows. We give you the raw digital mini-DV tapes right out of the camera. We also give you the right to edit the tapes and to make unlimited copies on your own. Because there is no editing, we do not consider it a finished product. Wedding Light $895 Our Wedding Light production offers a fully edited ceremony and lightly edited reception content. It does not include our Signature Style video montages. Your Wedding Light is delivered on a auto starting DVD. Approximate total content time is 10 to 20 minutes for the ceremony and 30 to 60 minutes for the reception. Here's what you get:

Signature Style Wedding PackagesPremium
Package $595 Our Premium Package is designed to accommodate a single location shoot. An example would be a short 20 minute ceremony and a cake and punch reception. Another example would be a longer ceremony such as a Catholic Mass to capture the wedding itself, but not the reception. Another option would be to capture some of the high points at a reception, while leaving the actual ceremony to your still photographer. We place our camera on a tripod at an optimum location and usually do not move it. There is a very good reason not to move the camera. Depending on its placement, it can be disruptive to the ceremony. For more a stronger visual impact, we suggest a second camera and production assistant as an option. Our goal is to have the audience focused on you, not the camera. We place a hidden wireless mic on the groom to capture a better sound. We can't do that with a camera mounted mic that is 50 feet away. Our microphones are professional quality, but they cannot bypass the laws of physics. A wireless mic overcomes those issues. The DV tape is brought to our editing room where we add an introductory DVD menu and transitions (cuts, fades, blended images) to to your wedding video. We edit the content to approximately 20 to 30 minutes. The video is mastered to menu driven DVD. DVD is our standard at no extra charge. Ultra Package $1195 Our Ultra Package can be thought of as a longer Premium Package, but there are some very important differences and advantages. We videotape and edit the reception in our Signature Style. Your wedding DVD includes an intro video with the edited reception. The price includes travel costs when moving to a different location if necessary--even to more than one, since that is covered by the coverage time. You can buy more time by the half hour if you need it, because we allocate the day to your wedding. You don't have that option with the premium package, because we may have other events to shoot on the same day. Ultra Plus Package $1695 Everything you see in the Ultra Package plus a second camera for your ceremony, a production assistant for ceremony coverage, and all the editing necessary for a two camera shoot. Two cameras give you a live back-up in case one fails. It also provides the opportunity to get reaction shots, shots that would otherwise be missed, wide and tight shots at the same time, and shots from different angles. Custom Services While we offer wedding packages, every wedding is an individual event. If our packages do not fit your needs, we are happy to work with you to create a level of service that will. We offer both photography and video packages and some combinations of the two, so please ask about our combination prices and services.
